- How does pricing work?
- Monday to Friday, within 25 miles of 90011, we offer a 7-song package for $380 or $500 per hour, with no hour minimum within 15 miles. Saturday and Sunday are $550 per hour, starting at 3:00 PM or later.
- What areas do you serve?
- We give instant quotes for Los Angeles County only. For events outside the county or state, contact us and we'll review it case by case.
- Where are you located?
- We are based in South Los Angeles, ZIP 90011. We come to your event anywhere in Los Angeles County: homes, halls, churches, restaurants, and cemeteries.
- How far in advance should I book?
- The sooner the better, especially for weekends. Bookings under 24 hours out are allowed. Under 3 hours before the start you need to call us.
- How do I hold the date?
- The deposit is $50 per hour booked (or $50 for the 7-songs package); if you book less than 24 hours before the event, the minimum is $150. The balance is paid later, directly to the band on the event day.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- The deposit is refundable only if you cancel 7 or more days before the event. Within 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Why do Saturdays start at 3 PM?
- On Saturdays and Sundays we take events that start at 3:00 PM or later. For earlier weekend events, contact us.
- What does the 7-song package include?
- It is a set of seven songs of your choice, available Monday to Friday within 25 miles of 90011. It is ideal for serenatas and short celebrations.
- How many musicians come?
- Our group is 5 musicians. Weekday 7-song serenatas are performed by 4 musicians; weekend packages and all hourly bookings get the full group of 5. The Mariachi El Cuis musicians you book are the ones who show up, with no substitutes.
- Can you play just Las Mañanitas?
- Our smallest package is 7 songs. Las Mañanitas is usually the first, and you choose the other six. Every booking means the whole group getting ready in full mariachi suits and traveling to you, so we do not offer single-song visits.
- How do I pay?
- You can pay the deposit online by card when you book. The balance is then paid directly to the band (cash, Zelle, or Venmo).
- Can I request specific songs?
- Yes. Send your list when you book and we'll prepare it. We carry more than forty classics and learn special requests with notice.
